Where does this store ship from?
We moved from a physical product store to a digital download store in 2015 but, from time to time, we will offer actual products. If so, we ship from Minneapolis, Minne-SNOW-ta!
What is this store’s return and exchange policy?
Due to the ease of saving and transferring digital files, I cannot cancel or refund any order that shows as downloaded. I will refund an order if your account says you haven’t downloaded your file.
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
We sure do!
How long will it take to receive my order?
You can download your pattern immediately after payment. Our orders are processed through Paypal (including credit and debit card payments) and as soon as the order is processed, you will be taken back to a download screen. You will also receive an email with the download links shortly after purchasing. If you did not get your email, please check your spam folder as they sometimes want to go there (especially if this is your first order from us).
The majority of our child sewing patterns fit this size chart. Each pattern has it’s own size range and are listed on the pattern listing (not all dresses translate well into the smallest baby sizes).
Small: birth – 12lbs.
Medium: 10 – 22lbs.
Large: 20 – 30lbs.
Another way of looking at it is as follows:
But as with most diapers, the sizing is approximate. A thinner, but heavier child can fit into a smaller size longer whereas a buddha baby will need to go up a size sooner. I include a crossover tab so you can buy the next size up and get more wear out of the diaper.
What is a typical wash routine for diapers?
WASHING Dispose of any solids in toilet and fold tabs onto themselves before tossing in dry pail before washing. A cold prerinse is helpful to soften and remove any solids left behind. Wash with 1/4 to 1/3 normal amount of diaper safe detergent. Use baking soda if desired. An extra rinse is helpful but not necessary. Vinegar can be added to the first rinse. Tea Tree Oil can be added to the last rinse. Line drying is preferable as it will extend the life of your diapers but you can also use a dryer. Washing does not have to be a labor intensive process. Your routine will depend on your type of water, you detergent, and the types of diapers you own.
