It’s Time to PARTY with the Feestje Dress (Call for Testers)!

I’ve had this striped fabric in my stash for a while (a short while) and knew it was for this dress I had rolling around in my head for a bit.  It’s funny how your fabric gets used up faster when you by for specific projects…

The Feestje (Party in Dutch) Dress has a flat, asymmetrical collar, a fitted bodice with invisible zipper (super easy to sew, I promise) and FULL FULL FULL party skirt!  A very vintage silhouette.  The skirt is made “poufy” by adding a crinoline underneath (my absolute crinoline/tutu sewing pattern can be found HERE, designed by a good friend, Amy-she’s adorable and makes fantastic sewing patterns).

The round, flat collar is accented by a decorative placket and large statement button.  A simple zip up the back makes for quick wardrobe changes.

The Feestje Dress pattern is sized 6mo-12yr.
